Gratitude

grat·i·tude
ˈɡradəˌt(y)o͞od/
noun
  1. the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness.

Today I write this post in expressing being grateful for so many things.  Life is full of uncertainty, changes, suffering, pain, turmoil, disappointment, regret, etc.

I look back and as a kid was probably pretty ungrateful, or didn't realize just how great I had it.  I am pretty sure most kids were/are like that.  After all, we have young minds that clearly do not realize that the grass on the other side is probably pretty brown & not so green!

As I aged and wisdom started to set in, I realized the things I had been given are not rights, but privileges.

I recently read this quote & it's brought much thought on my part....

“If we do not feel grateful for what we already have, what makes us think we’d be happy with more?” — Unknown

Gratitude leads us to greatness, and can turn turmoil into order, concern into clarity, and bring peace into your day!  It turns what we have into enough!

“Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.” ― William Arthur Ward

There is always something to be thankful for!  And, since I am so grateful for all that I have, the opportunities I've been given, my job as a blogger & mom is my joy, I am THANKFUL.  I am thankful to all of you my readers/followers and so I've teamed up with a group of different brands to bring you some gifts!!
