It is one of my favorite times of the year. The Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY.
My oldest daughter has taken much interest in my work, what I do, and wants to be a part of it. I asked her if she wanted to join me this year for my annual trip to the Country Living Fair. She was beyond excited, and was up at 5 am Saturday morning, much too early for this momma to make our trip.
I told her to give me a few more hours of sleep, and then we'd be on our way.
We pulled up & her face just lit up with excitement & full of questions. She wanted to know if I knew anyone there, what would we see, & are there any rides here.
We entered the front gates, she grabbed a map immediately to see if she recognized any names I've spoken before.
She spotted my sweet friend Evey's name ASAP! She was so darn excited thinking we were going to get to see her. I had to explain that unfortunately not! Evey would be on the Main Stage on Sunday, which we wouldn't get to be there for.
But, once I told her let's go say hello to my friends from Bel Monili & Junxtaposition that make gorgeous jewelry she was happy. If you haven't, you should visit both of these lovely ladies. I never walk away without finding many items that I fall in love with.
Katie of course found some treasures of her own. She loved this darling heart ring from Junxtaposition & this bracelet from Bel Monili! She also picked out a bracelet for her sister that had the sweet quote "know in your heart you are loved". That my friends is true sister love!!
I would catch her many times looking down, smiling & admiring her new accessories! My heart was full!
The first year I went, I met Cari Cucksey from Cash & Cari. I always look forward to seeing her, and chatting about her awesome paint line. You can see a couple of my projects I've done using the RePurpose Paint line HERE & HERE!
This year Cari was not at the Country Living Fair... :::insert big sad face here::: ... but for a very good reason. Katie has heard me talk loads & loads of Cari and what an amazingly beautiful person she is inside & out! She wanted a picture with her!!
Finding a positive to Cari not being there is 2 Chix and a Barn & Wagner was set up in the spot that Cari normally occupies.
I didn't get to say hello to the lovely ladies from 2 Chix and a Barn because they were slammed busy during the entire time I was there! That's a great thing...they always have fun & cool things so if you missed them, go check out their website!
I've been using my Wagner sprayer (Flexio 590 specifically) since last year, and I absolutely love it. So naturally I stopped in to chat with the folks from Wagner.
Katie wanted to watch as they demonstrated the Home Decor Sprayer. I do not have this sprayer at this time, but it's on my list. I'd love to try it out.
I've had tons of questions about using my Wagner Sprayer. I was able to talk with some of the experts from Wagner to discuss some of the questions & concerns. They were amazing at answering my questions. I look forward to bringing some important information to you soon in a separate post on using the sprayers from Wagner.
One of the highlights of my visit this year was getting to meet Matthew Mead!
Matthew is known to many as a Lifestyle Guru..
It was not only a pleasure meeting him, but getting to watch him on The Main Stage demonstrating the Wagner Sprayer.
I was able to video the demo and share it live on my facebook page!
It was super cool of him to invite the members of the audience to come up and try out the sprayer for themselves. They were able to see just how easy it is to use the Wagner Sprayer. Matthew was able to answer questions that each person had directly.
One of my favorite finds this year was for my office makeover. I purchased 2 vintage school chairs. Here is a tiny sneak peek at one of them. I can't wait to show them off better when I get this room complete.
BTW those floors were painted using my Wagner Sprayer! Much more to come soon on that!
Overall the day was well spent. We got to visit with friends, drink lots & lots of lemonade since it was so hot, eat yummy fresh made ice cream...
We took many fun pictures from the first of many trips to the Country Living Fair..
My girl had such a great time, and she made her stance that she WILL be attending all future Country Living Fairs!
By the end of our day as we were heading home, barely pulled out of the Dutchess County Fairgrounds, I was at a stop light when I looked back...
This girl was totally worn out..but didn't stop her from jumping in the pool when we returned home!
Another great day spent at the 2016 Country Living Fair in Rhinebeck, NY!
